When Loud Pipes Come Together For a Good Cause

This past summer, I spent a morning volunteering my services to entertain a group of motorcyclists and volunteers during the Freedom Ride to End MS at Bingemans in Kitchener.

This gig came about after I volunteered for the KW MS Walk earlier in the year. As a nurse, I routinely see the debilitating effects Multiple Sclerosis (MS) has on patients and their families. Events like these and the work of the MS Society of Canada play an important role in funding research to find the cause and cure for this disease. I’m proud to support them.

After enjoying a pancake breakfast, the bikers were piped to the start line and then rode off to the tune “Amazing Grace” as they began their trip around the Waterloo Region.

If you’re hosting a charity event and looking to make it more memorable, contact me to see if I can help!
