This gig came about after I liked a tweet about the event and the organizer tweeted me back about piping at it, the night before the event happened. How could I say no when it was in support of National Service Dogs and puppies like Keko?!
Besides our four-legged friends, the night featured a tour of four different whiskies from The Glenlivet Distillery. While we waited for guests to arrive, I chatted with Frank, the Canadian Brand Ambassador of The Glenlivet and a native Scotsman.
After the crowd had gathered around the Monogram Coffee Roasters counter for cocktails, it was my duty to pipe them into the space where the “liquid gold” awaited.
Once my duties were finished, I was able to enjoy a couple wee drams with Frank before it was on to the next gig!
