#TuneTuesday | Crossing the Minch

White and Blue boat -

Ok, so this post is technically being published on Wednesday, but it’s for a good reason. This week’s #TuneTuesday was recorded aboard The Huronic during Collingwood Charter’s tour of Collingwood harbour which is situated on Georgian Bay.

Traditionally, “Crossing the Minch” is played for the highland dance called “The Sailor’s Hornpipe.” Given the setting, it seemed like the most appropriate tune to play while “out to sea.”

On the tour, the boat passed the Collingwood Terminals and the deteriorating but beautiful Nottawasaga lighthouse.

If you’re ever in the Collingwood area, we highly recommend taking this great boat tour.

Enjoy and stay “tuned” for next week’s #TuneTuesday!
