#TuneTuesday | A Man’s A Man For A’ That

Bagpiper and haggis bearer piping in the haggis at Google Canada.

This weekend and on Monday, January 25th, Scots around the world will celebrate the Scottish poet Robbie Burns’ birthday. This usually involves a traditional haggis dinner, some even more interesting Scottish cocktails, and of course, bagpipes. If you’re really lucky, you might even get to witness some highland dancing.

This week’s #TuneTuesday, “A Man’s A Man For A’ That,” is traditionally played as the haggis is paraded around the room before being served.

Enjoy and stay “tuned” for next week’s Robbie Burns edition of #TuneTuesday!

P.S. If you’re in the area this weekend, I’ll be playing at the Scran & Dram Scottish Public House on Saturday, January 23rd to pipe in the haggis around 5:00 pm and then again on Monday, January 25th for Robbie Burns Day, starting at 5:30 pm.
